Our Company Was Founded in 1963 by Mr.John Roche, Who launched Rotax Limited in Pettah, Colombo''s nerve center for business and commerce. It was with the liberalization of the economy in the late seventies(70''S), that saw Rotax emerging to quench the thirst for the ever increasing demand for sophisticated electrical equipment in the commercial, industrial & agricultural sector. The foundation of Rotax was further strengthened with the emergence of Mr.Joe Roche the present Managing Director, who moved the company from a sales oriented outlook to a more effective customer oriented approach. By this emphasis the quality and reliability became the governing factor in the selection of products which were offered to clients, tie-ups with leading manufactures thus assuring the confidence of a large clientele. This also paved the way for the forming of a highly professional customer oriented marketing team, who were equally balanced in technical details to Sales/Marketing and backup service, earning Rotax a special place in the Electrical market as the innovator and leader for the supply of reliable Electrical equipment from the most prestigious manufacturers spanning the Globe. As the next Millennium dawns, Rotax in it''s search for excellence to offer better service to it''s loyal customers, formed two new subsidary companies Roche Engineering Pvt. Limited and Roche Projects Pvt. Limited. With this Roche group of Companies has adapted it''s vision in the next Millennium to establish the Roche group of companies as the market leader in Sri Lanka for high quality sophisticated electrical equipment, with total reliability, conforming rigidly to international safty standards. To project and maintain the name of Roche group of companies, with quality reliability, sophistication, innovation, and excellent service in the field of Electrical equipment.
